Demand 比 ask, beg 來得強. 翻成 要求  便失去它強烈的本意. 

我舉一個例子來說明 demand 這個字的重要性.

跟誰要求?  跟政府要求嗎?  然而政府不是人民的公僕嗎, 怎麼主人反倒要向僕人要求?

上個的例子顯示這八個翻譯都不理想.  我建議

• 不要把 demand 翻成要求
